Get to Know Rila, Stay in Raduil
Rila is one of the most impressive natural parks with magnificent mountains that host Balkans’s Peninsula greatest summit: Musala – 2,925m (9,740 ft). The mountain range is dotted with almost 200 glacial lakes such as the renowned Seven Rila Lakes, and is rich in hot springs, pristine landscapes in the Rila National Park which covers much of the area, as well as the Rila Monastery Nature Park. It is a popular destination for hiking, winter sports and spa tourism.
Raduil is located just over 1 hours drive from Sofia in South-West Bulgaria, nestled in the Rila Mountain range. It is a tranquil and picturesque village, with sweeping views of the mountains. The main road winding through the village and over the Maritsa river making it a popular holiday home destination being just 8km (15 mins drive) from the world class ski resort of Borovets.

Skiing & Snowboarding – Borovets:
Borovets is a modern alpine ski resort featuring a good choice of pistes & lifts for all snow sports during the winter: skiing, night-skiing, snowboarding, cross-country skiing, ski jumps and biathlon, ski-doo, etc. There are ski runs for beginners, intermediate and advanced skiers
Hiking – Rila Mountains & Seven Lakes:
Enjoy breath-taking views on one of the most famous hikes in Bulgaria, the Seven Rila Lakes hike is one for your bucket list, offering a moderately easy walk of approximately 3 to 5 hours (6km) circuit.
Relaxation – Winery Tour & Spa:
Take a guided tour of the local Via Vinera Karabuynar vineyard estate, which includes a wine tasting of both red and white varieties, including the local misket grape which produces a fresh white wine. Then indulge in an afternoon at the Thermal Spa at Kostenets waterfall.
Visit Sites – Rila Monastery, Stob Pyramids:
